Description: In Touch is a not-for-profit corporation that
provides a national radio reading service, broadcasting articles from
more than 100 newspapers and periodicals 24 hours a day. Listeners within
a 55-mile radius of New York City can pick up the closed-circuit signal
on special receivers, provided (for a fee) by In Touch. Beyond the 55-mile
limit, listeners can hear the broadcasts, via two communication satellites,
through their own FM receivers.
